An Grianán of Aileach Riso Print

from €25.00

An Grianán of Aileach is a hilltop fort in Burt, Co. Donegal, Ireland. It sits on top of Greenan Mountain and it is believed to have been the ancestral seat of the Kings of Ailech who oversaw Ailech, a medieval province in what is now modern-day Inishowen.

From An Grianán you have amazing views of both Lough Foyle and Lough Swilly, and it is the perfect place to watch the sunset.

This print was created using the unique technique of risograph (or “riso”) printing. Risography combines the efficiency of digital printing with the charm of traditional screen printing. Each colour layer is printed separately using eco-friendly soy-based inks, resulting in vibrant, textured prints with unique overlaps and subtle variations that make every print truly one-of-a-kind.

Printed by Cara on Munken Pure 170gsm paper, in Derry Print Workshop.

Size: A4 - 210 x 297 mm

Available unframed or framed in a sleek oak-style frame with real glass. Simply select your option below.
